Exchange & Return policy
At Child Boutique, we do our best to ensure you are pleased with your purchase by providing accurate sizing and a fair exchange policy. We are nice people and genuinely want you to be happy. We understand buying online can be tricky, that's why we offer easy exchanges or if we cant offer a different size due to low stock, a credit note will be issued in the form of a code for checkout (valid for 6 months)
We do not offer refunds in the case of incorrect sizing or a change of mind. Refunds are only issued if garment is deemed faulty (new products). Please choose carefully and if you are unsure about sizing please feel free to contact us on contact@childboutique.com.au.
Item’s must be returned and recieved within 14 days of purchase date, unworn, no stains or marks, swing tags intact and attached. The item must be returned in the original packaging in which it was received eg. dust bag, shoe box, hygiene sticker etc.
We do not accept returns on sale items or items that are part of a promotion.
Faulty goods or exchanges must be sent back within a 7-day time frame to be accepted.
Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with postage.
Restocking fee of 5% per items returned which is taken from credit or refunded value.
Purchasing a preloved item, as the name suggests is secondhand and condition of each piece is stated in the description of the listing - Excellent, good or average. We will always state any imperfections such as marks or pulls. We do not accept this as a basis for refunding as the condition has been stated before purchase and is NOT a new product. There will generally be signs of wear and tear, if you have any questions regarding the condition of any piece - please contact us :)
Child Boutique reserves the right to refuse returns if the above conditions are not met by the customer.
For local customers, we are happy to accept returns in person.
Cancelling/Changes to order
Changes to orders and cancellation is accepted within 3 hours of purchase time.
For Returns
Please email us on contact@childboutique.com.au with your name, order number, what you are returning and why. Our returns address will be supplied when return is approved. Refund will be processed when we receive the stock back in person and the conditions are met as stated above. We will either send back the exchanged size via regular post or a credit note will be issued via email.
Shipping
We ship daily from our Dunsborough, Western Australian location.
We are a rural location, 3 hours south of Perth - we usually add an additional 1-2 days to shipping estimates to cover this extra distance.
Standard - Domestic interstate 5-10 business days - within WA it can be as little as 1-2 business days
Express - 3-5 business days
we always recommend express if you are unsure if your parcel will make it by a specific date.

Any unclaimed parcel from the post office are the responsibility of the purchaser. If your parcel is returned to us due to not being collected from the post office, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs to have it resent once we receive the parcel back.
